• Corruption in Some State Institutions.

• At all levels of society this menace exists. I describe it as a cancer that destroys the very fabric and well-being of our society. Take a look at and or visit some of the public institutions in Ghana and you will be shocked and or disgusted at the levels of this menace. Some of these officials involved in this are actually proud of what they do. Some even blatantly ask you for bribe in your face. My question is, are these officials not paid at the end of the month citation source? Of course they are . They ride all the posh vehicles in town and own houses in almost every latest estate in town. How come? The fees they charge (bribe) to provide services for which the government pays them will drive you crazy . Exorbitant and outrageous fees, you won’t believe it köp testosteron. It also amazes me that some of the officials at the top management level are aware of these practices of their subordinates and some of them actually engage in same.

• The average Ghanaian who needs the services of these organizations is ripped off his or her savings and earnings by these public officials. The custom is “you pay or you don’t get served”. So I keep on asking, what about the official fees? One may notice that these official fees are 99% less that the ‘bribe fees’’. An official fee which is GHC50.00 for a service will instead cost the average Ghanaian about GHC600.00. The norm is “You pay us our bribe fee or your file is delayed or gets “missing” or “lost” in the system. Really? Oh yes! (hiding in someone’s drawer or vehicle , waiting for you to pay the bribe money and as soon as you, do your file is immediately found). Bingo! Sounds like magic doesn’t it? Yeah right. You tell me.

• What is all this? There are “brokers” stationed in some of these institutions. Also known as “goro” boys. If you don’t go through these goro boys who claim to know their way through the system, you are doomed. These boys are also as corrupt as the officials themselves. But heey, I call them the lesser of the two evils. The so called system is so messed up and choked with this cancer that the prospect of visiting any such institution for the provision of any service makes me tremble. Really.So much so that certain private institutions make provision for the bribery money and term it “facilitation fees”. Every memo or fund request for the provision of services from some of these public institutions is labelled with a provision for “facilitation fees”.
