Celestina Aku Yanney was called to the Ghanaian Bar on the 3rd of October, 2003. She is also a Notary Public certified under the Notary Public Act in Ghana. She undertook her pupilage at Reindorf Chambers, a law firm in Accra as well as FIDA GH, a non-governmental Women and Children’s Rights Organisation in Accra. Upon completion of her pupillage, she worked at the Attorney-General’s Department of Ghana as an Assistant State Attorney.

She thereafter joined the corporate world, specifically, Intercontinental Bank now Access Bank and Amalgamated Bank, now Bank of Africa, working as a lawyer in their legal departments. In 2011 she entered into full time private legal practice inaugurating the law firm, Doegah-Yanney Law Consult in Tema.

She is the Managing Partner and is engaged in both civil and criminal litigation. Her firm offers a wide range of legal services including offering legal advice and opinions, drafting and review of agreements and contracts, drafting of court processes, court appearances involving all court cases, offers research on legal matters and relevant laws and indeed she offers services on all legal issues.

Doegah-Yanney Law Consult also offers services on corporate issues, banking and finance, land and conveyancing, maritime, labour, debt recovery and family law. Celestina is hardworking, passion-driven, creative and has an endearing personality. She is a Christian and stands for the truth, integrity and love for humanity.
